Illinois Covid Mitigation Plan

New Regional Mitigations, Suspended Indoor Service at Restaurants and Bars in All 11 Regions

On Monday, November 9, Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced additional COVID-19 mitigation efforts that will be implemented in Region 5 (Southern Illinois), Region 7 (Will and Kankakee counties), and Region 8 (Kane and DuPage counties), beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11. These regions are seeing a test positivity rate that remains above 8 percent and continues to rise after more than 14-days under Tier 1 mitigations, which exceeds the threshold set for establishing additional mitigation measures under the state's Restore Illinois Resurgence Plan.

Beginning November 11, Regions 5, 7, and 8 will face additional mitigations, such as a tighter gathering cap of 10 individuals rather than 25 and new table caps of six rather than 10 when eating out.

Restaurants in all 11 regions of Illinois remain closed for indoor service due to mitigations.

Pho Thien will open dine in as soon as the mitigation has been lifted. We appreciate your understanding. Stay safe and thank you.

Temporary Price Increase Due To Meat Shortage

Hello,

We hope everyone is doing well. Due to the COVID crisis, the price of meat (beef, chicken, pork) has doubled in the past weeks from our suppliers and Pho Thien has made the difficult decision to raise our prices. The price increase will be an additional $2 and will only affect pho, rice plate and vermicelli dishes. Extra beef and chicken products will be an additional $1.

We will start the temporary price increase on 5/21. Thank you for your understanding.

Best,

Pho Thien

Reopening for business on 4/7

Hello we hope everyone is safe and would like to announce that Pho Thien will reopen on 4/7. We have increased sanitation measures and trained employees on COVID-19 risk factors and protective behaviors, as well as reduce the number of staff in the establishment at a given time. To comply with the safety regulations, we are currently offering to go orders over the phone and any available food delivery service.

Thank you and see you soon.
